Adolescence

Pretty surface level examination of the Manosphere’s grooming of young boys, and the middle of the series (eps two and three) are pretty rough slogs to get through, but it’s all easily elevated by the oner direction and Stephen Graham’s genius masterwork performance. The oner bit does get wasted on those two episodes and lead to some pretty awkward moments such as that terrible slow jog chase scene at the end of Ep 2, but is utilized brilliantly in eps 1 and 4, never a wasted moment in those, with masterful direction and cinematography making sure those two don’t feel like such a drag.
