Cure

There is something so mesmerizing about the film. From the editing, to smaller things this movie is an enigma, like watching a dream unfold. I love how it delves deep into not only the psyche of the characters but the society of Japan. The protagonist, takabe, is fantastic, a man who is clearly hiding a lot under the surface. And the movie does a well job of making you feel calm even when murders are happening, a factor from is mesmerizing style. Honestly my favorite movie of all time
