Interstellar
A big question in life is, “what are you grateful for?”…the common answers are usually “shelter”, “family”, “having food”, etc. and while those are true, something I’m grateful for other than those is being alive to witness Christopher Nolan’s transcendental creations.
It’s been almost a year since I last visited this ethereal dream and the reason for that was to try to forget everything and re-experience it in theaters. Now that detail might seem unimportant to a regular person but for someone who watches this movie almost religiously and with the immeasurable level of impact it’s had on them like myself, I’ll have you know IT WASNT FUCKING EASY! I was planning to watch this in IMAX 70mm but unfortunately like some other people I wasn’t able to get tickets. Fortunately enough though and I humbly say this, my family owns an 86inch TV and a 5.1 surround sound system in our basement so it wasn’t the end of the world. Anyway the point is It’s been so hard not watching this movie but 100% worth it!
This film is truly special, it’s like it was pulled from the 5th dimension. There isn’t one emotion I don’t encounter when watching this. I bawl my eyes out every now and then, I have chills every now and then, I get happy every now and then, It just leaves me in awe every fucking time. It’s pure ecstasy! I would say my favorite scene starts at 00:00:00 and ends at 02:49:00. Literally 100/100, it couldn’t be any better, just perfect.
