Godzilla

Training to be a Godzilla guy. Listening and learning. Took me too long to get around to seeing the original, but I’m really glad I did it. This definitely makes me appreciate the return to form of the most recent Godzillas even more.  I’m shocked by how melancholy this movie was. I knew about the big metaphor going in, but this movie genuinely gives you a glimpse of a nation that is still grieving from nuclear attacks. The practical effects add so much charm to the movie and makes it timeless.
