I’d be lying If I said that I understand this film (despite watching it four times and reading nearly half of the manga), but I’d also be lying If I said that was any reason why I would dislike it. Despite its notoriously complex plot; this movie is still incredibly well made and enjoyable. Literally every scene is gorgeously constructed, jokes are funny, conflicts are anxiety inducing, characters are interesting. Literally everything in the film is well done. Thus no matter how little I understand about it; it’s still amazing (and a personal favorite) "He's not your friend, he's ours! If somebody's gonna kill him, it should be us!"
