Perfect Blue

I love this movie so much. Satoshi Kon is a master in horror. He perfectly uses suspense to tell one of the most compelling stories I have ever seen. Mimas sense of helplessness and fear is felt through the screen. The visuals are gorgeous, every frame could be framed, the usage of color to strengthen the story is both subtle and strong.
