The Shining

This movie is extremely well made. The acting is phenomenal, and omg the music(/sound design). Every detail adds to a sense or eeriness and anxiety. Despite not being particularly gory or violent this film is terrifying (in the best way) “Your wife appears to be stronger than we imagined, Mr. Torrance. Somewhat more... resourceful. She seems to have got the better of you.”
