Apocalypse Now

(Final Cut) First film I tried out on new soundbar and it’s sounded crisp especially with the chopper blades whooshing was insane. Truly is one of the greatest American films.  4K blu ray restoration of this is absolutely breathtaking and is one of the best transfers from a 20th century film I’ve ever seen. Regardless of the quality you watch this is one of the best photographed films of all time. It’s a miracle the FFC got a coherent film and story after such a tumultuous shoot it’s insane to think this really exists. A true masterpiece of cinema. Ps. I still hate the plantation scenes with a passion though 🤷🏻
