JFK

A behemoth of a film. Oliver Stones masterpiece. Arguably one of the best films of the 90’s and one of the best crime thrillers ever made. Kevin Costner gives one of the best performances ever put to screen which is solidified by his immense 20 minute Oscar worthy monologue (probably one of the best monologues ever filmed too) which should have won him the Oscar easily. A rich screenplay which is smart, scary and enthralling with dynamic editing which mixes real life and filmed footage giving you more context and background information on the events shown.  One of the best films crime thrillers and possibly 90’s film ever made which displays the government suppression of knowledge to its public which is still relevant to this very day. P.S. This should have absolutely sweeped at the Oscars.
