Watchmen

Watchmen 2019 meant to serve as a follow up to excellent graphic novel is one of my favorite TV miniseries ever. A lot was riding on this show it seems that everything that has to do with Watchmen outside of the graphic novel tends to be not so great, but Lindelof and his crew pulled it off. Watchmen succeeds so well at being a new look into this world filled with new characters, new stories all while managing to keep in line with the themes of the original source material. Don't let fool into thinking it's a rehash because this show also has a lot to say about our world without needing to tie it back to the graphic novel. It uses what works about the old and brings into the modern world to tell a new and refreshing story.
