Blade

This movie has  Bullet time. Long trench coats. Corny visual effects. Martial arts inspired action. An end fight where the hero levels up. A commentary on identity and the elites. And this proceeded The Matrix by 5 months.. god that movie is such a fraud.  Sorry just had to get that out there Honestly though this movie is kinda a masterpiece. I can’t really get the kick this film gives me from any other. It really has no deep meaning or anything to grasp from its themes but it doesn’t need too. The style is the substance and YES that is a thing. Everything from an aesthetic standpoint calls to me, and I could watch this over and over again for that reason. I miss when my slop had dignity.
