holy fucking shit
cried like a baby by the end, clutched my mom like it was my first day on earth. it was a storyline that is deeply personal to me. beautiful beautiful acting by every single cast member, not a dialogue out of place. the ache of seeing a wrinkled old woman - who has seen life, who has fought her own damn husband to protect her daughters - cry like she's afraid actually broke my heart. growing up and seeing the strongest women in my life fall apart or be held back because of worthless men or health is a familiar pain. what can you even do? you're a reflection of simpler times for them. like idk my brains not working all i know is that this is a really fucking important movie to watch if you're surrounded by women. and the cinematography is gorgeous. nipun the man that you are :') i wish marathi movies got more recognition
also i would genuinely fucking die for kadaknath, he's exactly like my bagheera but calmer. the contrast between a new life and a dying person and their unlikely bond is just tearjerker material
