Most of my reviews are jokes but this one is gonna be serious A: cause I couldn’t think of a good joke and B: because this movie is so fucking good. I feel like most people centre on Cate Blanchett’s performance and don’t give enough credit to the rest of the movie as a whole, like how damn good the editing is or the fact that Todd Field should 100% be taking that Best Director Oscar. But I get it, like holy shit Cate Blanchett. This performance is so goddamn impressive that someone as well known as Cate Blanchett can look exactly like Cate Blanchett and still be completely unrecognizable. It’s the kind of performance that’s so good, you forget you’re watching a performance. Anyway, watch this movie.
