🇧🇷 every once and a while i'll randomly remember i forgot to add a movie i watched and it'll mess up my watched list by breaking up the pattern of recent movies watched. need to watch more movies.

still just an amazing work of art and a must see. a lot easier to see through holmes's manipulation the second time ngl

dude.... very good movie and i was thoroughly entertained but i js wished they leaned into the horror more as it was marketed as horror sm. the way it tackled the identity crisis that comes from being an actor and now a clayshapeshifter was woven together pretty well. a lot of purposefully cringe inducing horror shots w the body horror aspect but also feel like it held back from doing more with the body horror premise. should have been marketed more on the revenge plot vs the horror aspect bc although there were several scenes that leaned heavy into the horror aspect, it was more of a revenge drama dealing with body horror and themes of identity than a body horror that deals w revenge and identity imo. marketing made me expect it to be scarier and more disturbing than it was but as a movie it was still rlly good. says a lot that i was disappointed in one aspect but still left the theater satisfied and having enjoyed what i watched. definitely recommend for any revenge story fans and for any horror fans, and a MUST WATCH for any comicbook fan. ESP for batman fans or for fans of the clayface character (obviously) bc they make u empathize and even root for him but its clear in the end that he is a VILLAIN. a sympathetic one but still a villain, not an anti-hero, and that is smth that can still work as a movie (smth sony never realized ig). its a horror in an almost similar vein to coraline where its "horror bc of certain vibes and certain grotesque scenes but not a full on horror." mannn was i rooting matt on during his revenge scenes tho. very much a VILLAIN origin and thats what i came to see.

great news:all movies were good. quadruple feature was a success. i got what i was expecting and more. very fun movie. andrew schulz was unfortunately great in this im ngl. Needed to watch this with my dad based on how he grew up with the games so I was going to watch, regardless of how bad it was, and I was scared because of some of the bad reviews, almost deterred me from watching, but glad I did. Noah Centineo I apologize because I was unfamiliar with your game. You can actually act. This movie was not JUST a fun good enjoyable time but I loved the relationship between the two leads. Kinda freaky movie at times but people were overselling the freakiness. Enjoyed it a lot, even not as a Street Fighter fan, and made me interested enough in the lore that I am typing all of these while listening to a lore recap of all the games. Ends on sequel-bait that is kind of annoying, however, again, how annoying it was was oversold and it was not that bad. Nothing I strongly disliked about the movie and I liked it way more than Mortal Kombat 2 because the acting here is much better and the emotional scenes, while not anywhere near super moving, worked for what they went for and a lot better than MK2.

it rlly is that good. A stylized documentary of the final days in the life of a notorious sociopathic liar who scammed ill patients and investors off millions before she is sent to federal prison for her 11 year sentence. Interviewed and observed by the best social experimenter on tv, Nathan Fielder, I was never interested in documentaries but the buzz around this movie made me HAVE to watch. I am so thankful I did. More twists and turns in this than most movies I have seen. Watch this immediately. What a movie and what a thing to experience.
