definitely one of the better portrayals of what it’s like to have disabled family members. i’m very glad they didn’t go the tragic route and have something terrible happen to ruby/her family. the issues that the rossi family deal with are not unique to them being Deaf, but the barriers they face in solving them are. still very much a feel good, designed to make you cry type of movie but very nice
