Midnight Mass

Loved, loved, LOVED this! An absolutely amazing modern vampire story! It was a bit of a slow burn but it consistently shows you enough to keep in invested in the story and wanting to come back! As someone who comes from a catholic background, it was fascinating to see it portrayed here and just how creepy it can really all be. I loved how they showed that the "word of god" and the Bible can be used and manipulated to convince people to follow blindly based entirely on faith. Every performance was fantastic with each actor and actress bring their character to life, especially, Samantha Sloyan, who played an absolute bitch so well, it brought game of thrones Geoffrey levels of hate out of me. My only complaint is that it is like, ever so slightly long, I do believe you could have cut probably 30 minutes to an hour out of this, especially with some of the monologues here which felt like they would just go on and on.
