Titane

This movie really took me for a joyride. At first I thought that it was a generic thriller but with a girl that has a metal plate in her head, then it took a weird turn and became a body-horror car fetish movie and that was neat but unexpected, and then it took another radical turn and became a surprisingly heartfelt and wholesome but weird found familial love, while still maintaining the body horror themes in the background. Overall I'd say it was a quirky ride that is both disturbing and wholesome.
