Argo

I truly do not understand the online rhetoric surrounding this masterpiece. It has been stated that films such as Django should’ve won that Oscar but no movie that was released in 2012 even comes close to the greatness of this film.  A masterclass in tension creation throughout the entire film. That scene at the airport is the most tense scene that I’ve ever seen. Afflecks is performance is great but his direction is spectacular. Alongside amazing performances from all other members of the cast. What a masterpiece in filmmaking. Take a bow Mr Affleck.
