Fargo
fargo was so good! definitely Get why so many people speak about it with so much praise- it is well deserved! it's so shakespearean imo. it also made me miss kansas winters for 2.5 seconds. especially the frame outside of the king of clubs bar oddly.
despite the film quite literally following a kidnapping plot and an assortment of murders typically committed to cover their tracks (or for the million dollars from wade- which is still hidden in the snow- oh my god), this movie felt quite warm at times especially with frances mcdormand's moralistic and very minnesotan nice marge at the center. definitely a movie i will come back to excitedly!
