Scream

A true reinvention of the slasher genre and an enduring masterpiece. Wes Craven proved in the ninties what he proved in the eighties, he is the one of the masters of the horror genre. Not only scary but a funny and intelligent script place this movie in the greatest of horrors of all time. There isn't a single weak link in this movies cast but Matthew Lillard and Neve Campbell are revelations in this movie. This movie will always remain one of my favorites and one that left a lasting impression on not only me but the genre as a whole.
