it’s so beautiful how naively tracy sees the world. life is all song and dance and positivity when you’re ignorant to the culture you live in but at the same time becoming perpetually jaded from the knowledge that the world is a terrible place will also kill you. entire cast absolutely tore and dare i say this deserves a place in the upper echelon of movie musicals. it’s a shame how infamous nikki blonsky has become but rightfully so because what do you mean you starred in HAIRSPRAY then committed a RACIAL HATE CRIME!!??! miss baltimore crabs broke my slay scale!!! the john waters cameo as the flasher who lives next door was everythingggggg. it makes me sad that something like this could never be made today because we have lost all concept of nuance and it would immediately be read in the worst faith possible. and you just can’t stop my knife and fork when i see a CHRISTMAS HAAAAAAAM!!!!!
