“you don’t have to forgive him, but we shouldn’t forget him.”this movie man... talk about absolutely stunning in every possible way! the character design, the colours, the festivals, music, plot. everything was just so pleasing to sit and immerse yourself into. i won’t lie either.... it may or may not got me a little teary eyed by the end, i’d be a monster if i didn’t?  the whole festival around celebrating and remembering the dead, bringing them gifts and just the whole day being filled with colour is so mesmerising and i wish that was more of a universal experience because it feels so much better than letting death control you through fear. this acceptance of death and the afterlife being a powerful thing and i loved learning about it through the movie!  this is probably one of the best animated movies i’ve seen and i encourage everyone to watch it, i’m annoyed with myself for leaving it so so late
