The Invite

Wow just wow. What a start to the day. For starters seeing this in a completely empty theater just completely elevated the experience. This film takes you on a beautiful journey that absolutely captivated you from the first shot. I laughed and like a lot and I cried gosh I cried. The way this film is shot and edited is just phenomenal, and the lighting oh my gosh the lighting. It was so inviting (no pun intended) it just welcomes you in and draws you so near to these characters. Every line of dialogue felt so so intentional. The score oh my gosh the score from the first scene the score just adds such a weight to the overall feel of the movie. Holy crap this film was great. Also holy crap is the odyssey loud there’s no experience like watching a heartfelt scene and hearing a cyclops getting destroyed next door.
