“Last time I seen my brother, last time I seen the sun. And just for a few hours… we was free.” fucking glorious film, so happy i can watch this whenever i want now, and so happy i could finally rewatch this, WITH the aspect ratio changes i prayed for times like this.  i genuinely dont see this getting dethroned as the best film this year. honestly so electric from start to finish, powerful and original and beautiful. i need this film to have Oscar’s for every possible category.  flowers for all involved, so incredibly stunning, well done Ryan Coogler. this has so much music that moves you, AND they followed classic vampire tropes, if you know me you know how much that excites me. i feel whole again. thank you.
