Does Keke Palmer do weddings? As the bride? Out of all of Jordan Peele’s movies, this one is the most obvious that it was written by a comedian. And that’s a compliment. Comedy and horror follow the same formula. We laugh as a reaction, not just out of humor. We laugh to diffuse tension, to show understanding, to emphasize. If you’re not laughing at least a little bit in your horror movies then the formula is fucked up.
