The Wind Rises
I have a lot to say. Too much to say, so I'll keep it short.
This is far and away the most beautifully human film I've ever seen. It shows every facet of the human experience. Dreams, career, love, beauty, fear, joy, war, loss... The pursuit of our passion and what we may lose in doing so. Yet, despite this, it still has that signature Miyazaki wonder to it. No matter how dire the film may get, you never lose the sense that this film finds life beautiful and wonderful and it wants you to see that too.
"What about your 10 years in the sun? Did you live them well?"
