Lady Bird
i first watched this film at 15 in bed, on my school ipad, through an illegal website because timothee chalamet was in it … i didn’t really connect or understand this film at first or even understood why ladybird felt like she did but timothée chalamet looked fit in it and that’s all that mattered to me
now at 18, i understand ladybirds feelings of resentment yet admiration for her parents. i think i’m the smartest person who can deal with responsibility well and see myself as an adult who can survive out in the world, however my mum would always be there to ‘humble’ me and tell me the literal truth about everything i do.
i think i’m unique and quirky in comparison to everyone else when in reality … i’m not that special! ladybirds fearlessness and confidence in her decisions is something i strive to gain and strengthen as i grow and honestly … ladybird is my hero ✨
i also do still think timothée chalamet is fit btw
