Sinners
“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”
After preacher boy reads this bible verse and leaves, his dad says “You keep dancing with the devil, one day he’s gonna follow you home.” He is implying evil will get tied to preacher boy if he keeps surrounding himself with it. When it finally does attach itself to preacher boy, the quote becomes one of the movie’s main ideas that no matter the magnitude of temptation or evil there is always a way out.
