Coach Carter
9.8
I wish I didn’t leave this to be watched this late. However, I always knew that this film would be great regardless. The character development throughout this film was incredible, where I saw it the most in Timo Cruz - especially after Renny got shot, making it a crucial turning point for Cruz. The unique stories showed in each character easily showed everyone’s journey to get to the same ending: college. Samuel L. Jackson played this role very well and I cannot think of a better actor to play Carter. The pacing, additionally, was great as it felt very balanced: going at a good pace.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.“**
