Yes, I rewatched it. How couldn’t I? Brat is truly a beautiful motion picture, a work of art— poignant cinema. Unequivocally Aleksei Balabanov’s masterpiece, and one of the best Russian films ever made, nay, one of the best films in general ever made. My second favorite Russian picture, right behind Andrei Tarkovsky’s Solaris.
