The Intouchables
Despite its title, The Intouchables truly touched me. (yeah I know I'm hilarious).
This film made me laugh and cry, but mostly laugh. The humor is refreshingly different from the often disappointing clichés I’ve come to expect from french comedy. Watching this gave me a whole new appreciation for what french movies can be.
It is based on a true story and that makes it more heartwarming. This type of movie reminds us that even with our differences, we are all human and that connection, laughter, and kindness can bridge any gap.
“Don’t be afraid to be ridiculous, it’s how we stay alive.”
Absolutely worth the 5 stars.
