This was entertaining. The ideas and plot points in this movie are intriguing and I was really invested in the story. Those same ideas are not developed enough though and the movie did need some more childhood flashbacks for the reveal towards the end to work. The practical effects are ridiculous(wtf were those pig looking demons??) but overall I appreciated the direction the movie went to and I appreciated the ending for not doing the good old definitive “he’s just crazy” twist.
