Wong Kar-wai's masterpiece.
A complete mess of a film that wouldn't work any other way. It feels unorganized, yet meticulous at the same time. There's so much ambition oozing through every corner of this film, yet somehow it all works, despite feeling overwhelming at times. On paper, I struggle to see how a film like this could work, but in execution, it comes together beautifully. Wong Kar-wai is a genius and 2046 is his magnum opus.
