I watched this film a while ago and although i haven't watched it again yet it still is constantly one of those films i think about. The use of cannibalism as a metaphor for toxic love or even pure love is very impactful. The idea of being all consumed by the love in the form of literally consuming the other person bones and all is a interesting portrayal of human relationships and the depths of our emotions
