Fish Tank
I Dont quite know how to explain it but this is one of those films you watch and then just sit in silence for a couple minutes after. The style of filming is beautiful it almost feels like watching an old tape taken on a camera at times.- you know old videos you find that were taken when you were a child. seemingly unimportant moments that are caught just as they are in that moment. Its raw and hurtful and it portrays the effect of hope that is given and then taken away so suddenly. instantly became one of my favourite films and i don't know quite why given its gritty topics and little happy moments. It’s just very raw and very realistic and i like that.
