Interstellar
I cannot think of a film that shook me to my core so much as this one did. I regret never having seen it in a theater, but question if I’d even have been able to handle it.
I’ll probs write more on this when I am not such an emotional and mental disaster. But the sound, visuals, and concepts were masterpieces. The acting was superb, the plot was complex but still mostly easy to follow for the average cinema nerd.
This film makes you think deeply - too deeply, perhaps - about humanity’s future, present, and in-betweens. Where we are, where we’re headed, and our m other options for how we can potentially alter our future for the better.
Damn. There’s just so much we don’t know yet, and may never know…
