I’m sorry, I knew that I would be completely insufferable once I saw this and damnitt, I was right. I am incapable of being objective. I absolutely adored this! I love that it wasn’t a run of the mill biopic spanning his entire life and rather just a few chapters of a legendary story. Everyone did great and the music was incredible, I love that the actors did their own singing. Maybe I burst into tears as soon as that first note of the organ started in “Like a Rolling Stone”. Music is the most important thing there is. It also really felt nice to see this with my dad who is a big Dylan fan.
Timothée, on god we will get you that Oscar!!!!!! I am absolutely in awe of him and can’t speak highly enough of his performance. You can really tell he poured his whole heart and soul into this. I have a lot more feelings and thoughts but I just!! This really made me happy and I really would love to see it again.
