Citizen Kane

“I am, have been, and will be only one thing – an American” I was watching this at 1 am and falling asleep not because the movie was boring but because I was tired. I kinda forgot about the cockatoo so that did in fact wake me up. I get the message now after the second viewing. I mean the story telling is so captivating, And every scene is beautiful to look at. I still need to watch more Orson Welles movies. But I don’t know why I rewatched it. I just saw it while scrolling and decided to. But I feel like it stuck with me after seeing it a second time. Kinda an emptiness feeling.
