Gladiator

Commentary“My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions and loyal servant to the TRUE emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next.”Probably my longest quote I’ve put at the top of my review  SCREW IT. IMA REWATCH IT AGAIN. IN 4K. You have no idea how much I despise Amazon. They already had the nerve to delay my package and say it would come on the 26. But the audacity to have the package come the next day on the 24 BEFORE I watched gladiator 2 and AFTER I already rewatched it. Stupid company. Call me crazy for rewatching it for a second time after I already rewatched it recently but I deserve to rewatch it as soon as possible. Another steel book to my collection. BUT it’s the extended edition. with introducing by Ridley Scott. It’s almost 3 hours now. They changed the aspect ratio. Much smaller. I basically watched 3 movies in one day. I finished gladiator the first time at 2 am but logged it the day before because I was missing a gap. Watched gladiator 2. Then started this one and ended on the next day. Sorry the actual movie. I didn’t know Russell Crowe was so layed back. I always thought he was a super serious person but after hearing some stories I guess I was wrong. Ridley Scott is trying to talk all about the art and process and russle Crowe is telling fun stories. I mean obviously he’s talking about the serious parts of the movie but adds in a lot of fun stories. I find it interesting. I always saw that commentary option and passed it up every time. Honestly it gives you a better view and kinda underrated ngl. How the hell did I give this 4 stars the 1st time. A lot changes in 2 years. Last thing. It’s beautiful in 4K.
