“I have given a name to my pain, and it is Batman” I’m honestly surprised how good the one liners and just the script is in general. Happy 88th birthday Jack Nicholson. Jeez, he’s older than I thought for some reason, I thought like mid/early 80s. I think the best actor of all time. If I had to compare. Not my most favorite though. That would be Harrison ford. But Jack Nicholson is definitely my second. I separate favorite and best. I’ve come to the fact that I’ve watched this movie too many times. I know that. A bit obsessive. This one is in 4K tho, So something is different at least. I honestly don’t think we’ve had a bad joker introduction. Maybe Jared Leto, I don’t even remember his introduction so that doesn’t count. This is one of the movies with 4K that does make it better. I mean, the purple and the green just popped so much more on a suit and a bunch of other colors. This is the kind of 4K that I like, not the 4K that darkens everything and makes it look like garbage. Weirdly enough I didn’t mention Albert Evansky, the librarian from Indiana Jones and last Crusade. Guess '89 was his year being in two if the biggest blockbusters that year. He was at the table with the other mobsters. Like I remember seeing him, but for some reason, I didn’t say anything in my last review which I find weird. I usually just add some pointless things to my review cause I don’t know what to talk about anymore. You really get to Danny Elfman vibe when he’s driving the forest. Best joker ngl. I love when joker says jokes and is actually funny. I’m getting tired of this dark joker trope. Like Heath ledger, he actually had some funny moments as joker. but still. Rip bob. Maybe this is my comfort movie. that could explain why I love and watch it a bit too much. Yap sesh over
