Giant

Commentary Ok ok so James dean died today 69 years ago so I get a pass to watch it for the last time but with commentary this time. I think this is my first ever commentary movie. I’m not trying to glaze the living hell out of James dean but he really was one of a kind, Like he’s so natural about it and the little details speak so much about his character. Once again a very progressive movie for being made during this time. Rock Hudson was 29??? I thought he was in his early 40s in this. He was gay? He died of AIDS at 59? I had literally no idea. I may have to steal Jett’s little salute. It’s crazy to me that the son of George Steven’s actually got to ride in the infamous Porsche 550 Spyder with James dean a month before his death. It was interesting to see the commentary. Still one of my favorites of all time
