Nope

When I was a kid, I watched that Oprah special with the lady who was attacked by a chimpanzee. For a year straight I had nightmares about her torn-up face, and to this day I still have a pretty intense fear of monkeys. So yeah, those unexpected connections in this movie, paired with me being wayyyyy too high when I watched this last night, made for a pretty… weird experience. This film had some crazy shots, admirable cinematography, and a fantastic cast. I think I just went in with misguided expectations. I was totally in the mood for scary scary, and that was definitely not this film. Still worth the watch though.
