Dìdi (弟弟)

Great, now I'm sad again.  This was a beautiful heartbreaking but also heartwarming coming-of-age story that I think many millenials and early gen Z kids picked up a lot of nostalgia from. Sean Wang depicted an adolescent's journey beautifully, creating an almost autobiographical narrative through Chris aka Wang-Wang (Not to mention the several details of the Asian-American experience as well). I fell in love with Joan Chen (Chris' mother) and Shirley Chen (Vivian Wang) almost immediately as their performances powerfully-gripped my heartstrings.  Everyone should watch this movie, for we've all been Chris in some capacity.
