Is it problematic? Absolutely. Like boy oh boy does it have its moments. However, some of y’all didn’t grow up in the American south still seeing the impacts of these topics still playing out and some of y’all fail to acknowledge the true scope of what all women in the American South are viewed as, cause the more things seem to change, the more they stay the same.
