Get Out
when this movie was released my college pals and i found a small, random theater that was hosting a midnight premiere showing. obviously we all went. saw the movie. loved it. left the theater at 2 am and our drive back consisted of rural, empty backroads in the middle of the night and at 2:30 am, right after watching get out, we hit a fucking deer.
anyway, this movie is so good. the score. the story. the acting. truly a horror classic. i want to say i can’t believe daniel kaluuya lost his best actor nom to an old white man in a mediocre film, but it’s the academy so ofc i can believe it. jordan peele if you’re reading this we needed your next movie yesterday.
