Nosferatu
Didn’t think I’d enjoy the movie this much, this movie
has a great representation of trauma in film, whether it comes to Hardings hardships or Ellen’s loneliness as a child. The count was not only just a monster, but he was Ellen's pain, misery and trauma she endured throughout her life, and Thomas was a way for her to cope with it. To forget her suffering, almost like a drug.
And the only way to be rid of the pain and misery was to face it head on and bring it to the light. What a wonderful film. If Lily doesn’t receive an Oscar for this role then it’s absolutely rigged from start to bottom, superb performance.
All things considered if I was Thomas and the movie ended the way it did. It’d be my villain origin story, would make Joker look like a kids villain.
