Enchanted

okay, so i had a revelation that robert & giselle and kristoff & anna parallel each other SO WELL. maybe i'm too obsessed with frozen, but hear me out! first of all, the two couples have an almost IDENTICAL conversation where robert/kristoff criticizes giselle/anna for agreeing to marry a guy she just met. like... HELLO? are we seeing the vision? also, generally speaking, the male lead in both is the more grounded & cynical one while the female lead is a ditzy, slightly naïve yet self-assured redhead not to mention that there is ALSO a plot point in each movie where robert/kristoff thinks that giselle/anna's "true love" is going to save her through a true love's kiss, only for it not to happen because giselle/anna & edward/hans are not really in love (because, of course, giselle & edward are in love AND so are anna & kristoff even though anna's act of love towards her sister is what saves her in the end) i could probably keep writing about these couples & these movies because i am simply not normal about anything, but i'll stop for now!
