PlayTime
Rewatched this a couple of days ago and I am solidified with the fact that it is one of my favorite movies. For a simple premise of a man lost in the complex world of Paris, Tati makes this world that you get soaked into immediately with its static and mesmerizing shots with such a style to it. It has a gorgeous production design and amazing cinematography. With every rewatch you see something new, whether it’s some kind of technology or visual gag in the background. The film starts at an airport and you follow Tati’s character through a whole new world. It is literally like, as Dunkey puts it in his YouTube video about Playtime, a moving Where’s Waldo. This really is a stellar film and it's quite hilarious so yeah watch it.
