TRIGUN
Funny , whimsical , cool and serious , Trigun blends spaghetti westerns with a silly goofy , goody two shoes main character who is just as capable of getting shitfaced as he is to pull off the most impressive feats of mankind , the overlapping plotline as well as the backstories are very well intertwined with somewhat a "villain of the week" format for each episode.
As the anime is pretty old the animation at times can feel rather clunky but the amazing soundtrack of bassy jazzy guitars and classical western music as well as the impressive visuals more than make up for the lack of animation quality.
All in all a great anime deserving of much more love and a cult classic.
