Violet Evergarden

I'm writing this while I have the show fresh in my head , in all the times i've rewatched this I find all the more meaning and even as im writing I reminisce of the times this show has had me on the edge of my seat and on the verge of tears at the same time. The visuals are spectacular , the music swells like you have an orchestra in your room , and the plot is just amazing. So amazing in fact that I cant bring myself to talk about it , its something you have to experience for yourself. This is a magnificent story about expressing and understanding love in all of its many forms , its a story of loss , tragedy , and bearing your sins and "burn marks" as you live on , live on not only for yourself , but for someone else , to put it in simpler terms , its a story of humanity. I leave you with a quote that encapsulates the entire series for me : -" And if I can ever see you again , I want to let you know that the phrase 'I love you' , I understand it a little now .
